MEET K9 DEKO!

K9 Deko is a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd, who was imported to the United States from Poland. K9 Deko became a member of the Raymond Police Department in December of 2014 when purchased from Vohne Liche Kennels in Indiana. We were able to purchase Deko with a very generous donation from Charter Construction/BMF Washington.

K9 Deko is certified in patrol work and is assigned to Officer Rob Verboomen. Officer Verboomen has been a handler with the Raymond Police Department (WA) since January 2015. Officer Verboomen & K9 Deko began formal Police training in January 2015, and completed over 400 hours of training. K9 Deko likes going on walks, playing tug, chewing on toys, and sniffing out the house cat. K9 Deko has a strong dislike for criminal behavior and really enjoys the chase!
